Travel Resources
Thanks for joining us this summer at FoCo Fondo! We want to make your travel easy with some recommended travel resources. Summer is an excellent time of year to visit. Be sure to book early as things do fill up.
Be sure to also check out our Hitch-a-Ride program, which offers incentives for things like carpooling, taking the shuttle, and riding instead of driving.
Visit Fort Collins
Fort Collins is a lively city full of outdoor activities, breweries, live music and more. Check out Visit Fort Collins online or in Old Town Square to plan the best few days in Fort Collins.
Gettin’ Here
The nearest airport is Denver International Airport. We encourage you to consider not renting a car and enjoy our highly bikeable town.
Landline shuttle is excited to offer riders 15% off their shuttle services in 2024 using coupon code “FOCOFONDO24” (expires 8/15/24). Landline has just implemented a new pricing system where the first ticket is full priced, but every ticket thereafter is $15 (+ you can get that 15% off). Kids 12 and under are FREE.
There are also two different icons you will see when booking. The larger bus icon will show departures that will be on a motorcoach with has a much larger cargo area available. They recommend you try to book the motorcoach trip if you have bikes in addition to your bags. If you are traveling with any bikes or oversized luggage, please contact Landline customer service to ensure your bags can be accommodated. Text 888-428-1149 to inquire.
If you are traveling with your bike, consider using BikeFlights.com for low shipping costs, on-time delivery and easy-to-pack Bike Boxes. We’ve partnered up with Old Town Fort Collins shop Brave New Wheel for bike builds and mechanical needs. Check out how to use BikeFlights.com and these shops for your bike travel here.
Brave New Wheel charges $200 to unpack and build your bike, and then to repack it post-event. This can be for shipping purposes or airport travel.
Please arrange this service with them no later than Friday, July 5th by calling them.
