FoCo Fondo — Gravel race & ride
We ain’t yer grandaddy’s fondo
July 16-19, 2026
Fort Collins, CO
PRESENTED BY FAT TIRE
PRESENTED BY FAT TIRE
At the intersection of bikes and beer, you’ll find Fat Tire, a New Belgium Brewing brand. FoCo Fondo is proudly presented by Fat Tire since 2022 and hosted at the iconic New Belgium Brewery.
What sounds miserable and absurd to one is enjoyable and thrilling to another. We get it.
A gravel ride, a gravel race, rooted in the insanity of a fondo with the levity of the Fort Collins community. Whether you’re into racing bikes, or all day bike parties in the open range of Colorado, FoCo Fondo is your adventure. #doityouwont
Not Yer Grandaddy’s Fondo
We’re taking back the word fondo. This is not an old, stodgy, leather chamois, road race ride. This is a foot out, flat out, dirt, gravel, mixed terrain, make it to the finish, and win a bolo tie kind of event. Ride it, race it, or something in between. We’re just glad you are here.
What People Are Saying
“Fort Collins is a veritable Shangri-La for gravel riding these days, and locals Whit and Zachary Allison have doubled down on its ease of accessibility and almost year-round quality and vastness, dubbing the northern Colorado destination Gravel Graceland.”
— Elevation Outdoors (2022)
“One aspect of the FoCo Fondo I didn’t have to obsess over was my nutrition/feed zone strategy. Unlike many other gravel events, there are numerous, well-stocked neutral aid stations (five in the case of the Triple Dog Dare race).”
— BikeRadar (2022)
“And probably most important, the race event now offers a variety of community-building and inclusivity initiatives such as BIPOC scholarships, a non-binary category and prize purse, free childcare, and a substantial donation to Fort Collins’ Safe Routes to School program, and other social and training activities throughout the year.”
— The Radavist (2022)
